Built on Real Numbers, Not Promises

We started origin-think in 2019 because we saw too many businesses making decisions based on hunches instead of data.

Here's what we learned working with over 200 Thai businesses: good financial analysis isn't about complicated formulas. It's about asking the right questions and actually listening to what the numbers say. Most companies already have the data they need — they just don't know how to read it properly.

How We Actually Got Started

Back in 2018, we were consulting for a manufacturing business in Ayutthaya. They had ten years of financial records sitting in filing cabinets. When we asked why they weren't using this data, they said it seemed too overwhelming to sort through.

That's when it clicked. The problem wasn't lack of information. Most businesses drown in spreadsheets but starve for insight. They need someone to translate those rows and columns into actual business decisions.

So we developed a system that focuses on three core questions: Where is your money coming from? Where is it going? And what patterns are hiding in plain sight? Simple questions, but answering them properly takes experience.

By 2025, we've analyzed financial patterns across retail, manufacturing, services, hospitality, and technology sectors. Each industry has unique rhythms, but the fundamentals stay the same.

What Makes Our Analysis Different

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all templates. Every business has different priorities, different challenges, and different opportunities hidden in their numbers.

01

Context Over Comparisons

Comparing your retail business to industry averages might sound helpful, but it often misses the point. We look at your specific situation — your location, your customer base, your operational constraints. That's where real insights live.

02

Patterns Before Predictions

We're skeptical of five-year projections that claim to predict the future. Instead, we focus on understanding your current patterns. Once you see how your business actually behaves, better decisions follow naturally.

03

Education Through Practice

Our training programs run from September 2025 through March 2026. We teach by working with real cases — sometimes messy, always instructive. You learn to read financial statements the way we do, by actually reading them.

The People Behind the Analysis

Our team brings experience from banking, corporate finance, and business consulting. More importantly, we've spent years learning how Thai businesses actually operate — not how textbooks say they should.
